As of March 3rd, 2014, MASPRO launched 4 models of SKY WALLIE mini U2SWLC3 series which are the smallest as wall-mounted UHF antennas in the industry.
U2SWLC3 series have 36cm height and 15cm width of its main unit as the smallest＊1 size of wall-mounted UHF antenna in the industry getting ideas of customers who prefer antennas shaped “Smaller and Lower profile”. Moreover, it is not only prepared for outdoor use but also indoor use is first considered as SKY WALLIE series using a base accessory for standing.
U2SWLC3 is the series consisting of passive as standard and active model with 2 different colours, warm white and black.
U2SWLC3 series enhance its product range with variations of wall-mounted UHF antennas and satisfy various customers’ lifestyle needs.

Background ideas for development

There are a lot of wall-mounted DTV antennas are sold such as our SKY WALLIE series in the market at the moment. The wall-mounted DTV antennas in the main stream keep relatively getting larger due to demand of high efficiency. The reason why customers require such bigger size is to receive signals enough even far region from a transmission tower, but it is not necessary to install such big size of antennas in strong electric field where a transmission tower is close by, so that “Smaller and Lower profile” have been requested. The wall-mounted DTV antennas satisfy customers who need “Low-profile antennas” at strong electric field are in high demand because they do not cause disfigurement of new residential housing. Thus U2SWLC3 series were developed.
U2SWLC3 series are not only used outdoors mounting on the wall but also have base accessories its first case in SKY WALLIE series respond to a request for indoor reception.

Main Features

Low-profile and the smallest＊1 size in the industry

Main unit of antenna part(without wall-mount bracket) composes its 36cm height and 15cm width achieved the smallest＊1 size in the industry.
Such main body retains low-profile and does not cause disfigurement of residential housing, furthermore, the lightweight body
(approx.1Kg＊2 / U2SWLC3, approx.1.1Kg＊2 / U2SWLC3B) allows good workability when installing.

SKY WALLIE series have indoor-use base accessories for the first time. Mount anywhere.

This model can be mounted to balcony rails and masts as well as wall surface, and indoor stand use is the first idea from this series as wall-mounted antennas. Fixing brackets and base accessories allow to mount SKY WALLIE series anywhere.

Adjustable antenna angle is max.180°. Wide latitude of mounting position

The antenna angle is increased and adjustable until maximum 180° if the wall-mount bracket is replaced to another fixing position of the main unit. For instance, this model can be mounted to side surface of the house retaining low-profile as much as possible even though signal arrival directions are frontage of housing.

Efficiency improvement of work with wing screws and various purpose spanner accessories (Patent pending)

Mast fixing bracket uses wing screws allow easy temporary toolless tightening manually. Furthermore, only the spanner itself tightens wing screws of
F-type connector, wall-mount bracket, and mast fixing bracket, therefore it improves efficiency of work without preparing tooling.

Unique weather boot (Patent pending)

There is no need to cut the weather boot. Coaxial cable with an
F-type connector fitted can be inserted through the tip of the weather boot ensuring quick and efficient antenna head changes.

Durability

Main units uses durable ASA plastic＊4 and its flat body makes less snow coverage which reduces performance loss by snow accretion on the reception surface.
＊4 ASA plastic has the same properties of ABS such as durability, crash proof, material workability. In addition, it is sophisticated styrene resin which satisfies elastic resistance and weatherability.
